Matthias Tabbert is a Managing Director at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (“LLCP”) the U.S. middle-market private equity firm with a nearly 40-year investing track record. As part of the European LLCP team Matthias is leading the structured equity investments in the DACH region and is based in Frankfurt. Prior to joining LLCP in January 2022, he was a Partner with HQ Equita and served on the Investment Committee. Matthias has over 16 years’ experience in private equity investing across sectors. Currently he is a board member of cleversoft and Schülerhilfe. He began his career at Barclays Capital in London as a member of the European Leveraged Finance team.

Lorenz is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Multi-Managers Private Equity, a business which forms part of Real Estate & Private Markets within UBS Asset Management (UBS-AM). Based in Zurich, he covers European private equity investments across primaries, secondaries and co-investments on the sourcing, execution and monitoring side. Furthermore, Lorenz is also spending a meaningful part of his time on serving existing customers and growing the business with prospective clients all across Europe. Prior to joining UBS-AM in 2021, Lorenz worked for eight years at SwanCap Partners in Munich. He started his career as a participant of the International Graduate Program in Corporate & Investment Banking at UniCredit. Lorenz holds an MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth.

Vahit Alili is an Investment Director at the Private Equity team of Schroders Capital, the private markets investment division of Schroders Group. Vahit Alili joined Schroders Capital in 2019 and spearheads the firm’s European buyout and growth investments in the Healthcare industry. He joined Schroders Capital after 10+ years in European Healthcare Investment Banking, most recently with Lazard and Deutsche Bank. Since joining, Vahit has worked on a range of successful investment projects including buyout co-investments, direct growth investments as well as fund and secondary investments.

Christian is a Managing Director of Hamilton Lane (Germany) GmbH, based in the firm’s Frankfurt office. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2022, Christian was a Director at BNY Mellon Investment Management responsible for Germany. In addition, Christian held Director positions at Janus Capital Group and Feri Trust AG covering clients in Germany and Austria. Christian received a B.A. in International Finance from Nürtingen University and an Executive Master in Marketing and Sales from ESADE and SDA Bocconi.

Thomas has more than 25 years of international experience in the financial industry. He worked with banks in Prague and New York as well as investment firms in London, Vienna and Zürich in senior roles. During his 15 years at Erste Asset Management, Thomas held various management positions. In recent years, he built up the private equity investment department and founded Erste Private Capital. Thomas holds a degree in international business at the University of Vienna, completed the private equity programme at the University of Oxford and is a CFA Institute charter holder.

Dr. Andre Retterath is a Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital, who were among the first investors in companies like UiPath, N26, Peak Games or Aiven. Andre is based in the Munich office and focuses on enterprise software, with a particular interest in companies building products powered by deep technologies including AI/ML and advanced analytics. He also spends time looking at developer tools, open-source software and robotics. Besides his investor function, Andre heads Earlybird’s Data Strategy team. Before transitioning into VC in 2017, he gained more than 5 years experience as a process automation engineer and technology consultant with ThyssenKrupp and further insights as a management consultant with GE North America. Andre conducted his Ph.D. at the Technical University of Munich on the topic of machine learning and the value of data in venture capital. Moreover, he holds a M.Sc. in Management and a B.Eng. in Mechatronics Engineering and was previously educated at Harvard University, University of Cambridge and Georgia Institute of Technology, among others.

Kristina is a Princapl on the Investor Relations team at Atomico based in London. She works to oversee fundraising activities and manage relationships with investors globally with a focus on the DACH region and Southern Europe. Before joining Atomico, Kristina spent over three and a half years at Campbell Lutyens, where she was an Associate on the Fund Placement Team assisting and advising third-party funds on raising capital. Kristina holds a BA in International Relations from King’s College London. She is fluent in German, and English with good proficiency in Spanish and Italian.
