Rustam is a principal at Mid Europa Partners, a leading private equity firm in CEE with over €5.3bn of funds raised and managed since inception. Prior to joining Mid Europa, Rustam worked at Five Arrows Principal Investments, the private equity arm of Rothschild & Co.
Annemarie Dalka is an Investment Director at PFR Ventures where she is responsible for the Private Equity funds investments with a focus on regional investments. She has been building this program since 2018 and looks after investment strategies including buyout, growth, mezzanine and private credit. Annemarie holds numerous LPAC memberships alongside the fund managers from the PFR Ventures' portfolio, as well as serving on the ILPA's Membership & Events Committee. Prior to joining Polish Development Fund Group, she spent six years at BNP Paribas in London - in both the Asset Management and Investment Banking arms. Annemarie holds a masters degree in Strategic Management from Kozminski University in Poland.
Fabian joined Vitruvian in 2017, is heading the DACH office in Munich and is focused on Technology and Healthcare investments in the DACH and CEE region overall. Prior to Vitruvian Fabian has been a Partner with EQT, committed to the mid-market segment in the DACH and Nordics region. Prior to joining EQT, Fabian worked at MCap Finance investing in German mid-cap companies as well as for KPMG in the corporate finance team. In the course of his career, he has also co-founded an internet start-up. Fabian has over 17 years’ experience in mid-market private equity as well as growth investments across Europe. He has a MSc in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and a MBA from CEMS.
Julia is the Founding and Managing Partner of Vespucci Partners, a Hungary based VC fund. Vespucci Partners is a sector-agnostic Central Eastern European Venture Capital firm investing in early stage, innovative, deeptech startups. The aim of Vespucci is to bridge the CEE region with the US startup ecosystem. As such, they build hybrid startups with a presence in both locations. Besides providing capital, they support startups with an extensive network including later-stage investors and business development partners. Before founding Vespucci, Julia gained experience both on the investor and the startup side of the table. She used to work at Group11 VC in California, where they invested into Isralei based startups and helped them scale towards the US market. From that portfolio 3 startups are now unicorns. Then she became a co-founder of a Hungarian IoT startup. Vespucci Partners currently has 9 portfolio startups and is actively looking for new investments.
Petra is working as a senior associate in Nation1, venture capital investment fund that focuses of pre-seed and seed startup investments, mainly in Czech republic and other V4 countries. Before joining the VC world she was working as an investment manager for private individuals focusing on stock markets investments. In investment field, she co-founded a robo-advisory company where she was responsible for creation of investments portfolios & legal and regulatory agenda. For more than 7 years, she is a very keen stock market investor and given the time-consuming and extensive nature of stock market opportunities, it´s also her most favourite leisure activity.
Guillaume started his career with Goldman Sachs in Boston facilitating securities lending transactions. After a move to London, he spent three years as a management consultant working for various Fortune 500 companies, mainly on healthcare and FMCG projects. In 2014, he made the jump to Venture Capital, initially at Athene Capital, then joining Credo in 2016 after a move to Prague. After a good amount of travelling across CEE to work with amazing founders, he jumped to the other side of the table. He joined his own portfolio company, Pricefx to help navigate its first acquisition, Series C fundraise and budgeting exercise through COVID. He wrapped his operational experience with a product strategy role to help inform the product roadmap of the company's complex enterprise SaaS pricing optimization solution. In the second half of 2021, he rejoined Credo as a General Partner.
Rafał is a Partner at V4C, having joined the firm in 2012 following earlier roles in corporate finance and equity research. He specializes in deal execution, sourcing, and strategic exits, working with V4C portfolio companies such as home.pl, Kom-Eko, Summa Linguae, and Shoper, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. A CFA charter holder and CGMA, Rafał's educational background includes an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and studies in Warsaw, Singapore, and Washington D.C.
Tatiana is a Senior Investment Director at Genesis Capital, one of the leading private equity firms investing in lower-mid market companies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and neighboring CE countries since 1999, with € 300 million of capital under management. Genesis funds invest into growth capital and buyout situations. Tatiana manages and co-manages origination, evaluation, due diligence, and execution of investments and serves as a supervisory board member of several portfolio companies. Prior to joining Genesis Capital, she worked for almost 20 years in M&A advisory in Deloitte and KPMG Prague offices. Tatiana is a graduate of University of Economics in Bratislava and holds ACCA/FCCA professional qualification.
