Nenad has more than 25 years of venture capital and private equity investment experience in the technology and media sectors. Nenad is the Founder and Managing Partner of DN Capital. Prior to DN Capital, Nenad was a Partner at Advent International in London, where he focused on TMT investments. Nenad focuses on investments in digital marketplaces, consumer internet, software as a service (SAAS), fintech, and digital health companies. Amongst his select investments are Shazam Entertainment (sold to Apple), Auto1 (largest online marketplace for used cars), Apsmart (acquired by Thomson Reuters), Datanomic (acquired by Oracle), Endeca, (acquired by Oracle), Eve Sleep (IPO London), Go Student, Happn, Hometogo, Job and Talent, Lendis, OLX (acquired by Naspers), Purplebricks (IPO London), Tbricks (acquired by Orc) and Quandoo (acquired by Recruit Holding), Happn, Joblift, Mister Spex, Tourlane and Yassir. Nenad was Chairman of Invest Europe (formerly known as EVCA) for the year 2018/2019 and previously Chair of the association’s Venture Council 2015-2018. He is an active member of YPO. Dr. Tilman Kruse is the Head of Private Equity and Structured Finance EMECA at DEG – The German Investment and Development Corporation, one of Europe´s largest development finance institutions, based in Cologne. He is covering a large region spanning from Eastern Europe, Southeast Europe, Turkey to the Middle East, with an emphasis on technology investments. Prior to his current role, he served as Director Russia and Head of DEG’s Moscow Office from 2008 - 2014. Before joining DEG, Dr. Kruse acted as Lead Counsel to KfW´s equity operations in the DACH region, based in Frankfurt/Main. In his earlier career, he was a senior associate in the European Private Equity and M&A practice of magic circle law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, based in London, Munich, Cologne and Moscow. Tilman has broad experience and a multi-billion track record across national and cross-border M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital in both developed and emerging markets.

Fabian joined Vitruvian in 2017, is heading the DACH office in Munich and is focused on Technology and Healthcare investments in the DACH and CEE region overall. Prior to Vitruvian Fabian has been a Partner with EQT, committed to the mid-market segment in the DACH and Nordics region. Prior to joining EQT, Fabian worked at MCap Finance investing in German mid-cap companies as well as for KPMG in the corporate finance team. In the course of his career, he has also co-founded an internet start-up. Fabian has over 17 years’ experience in mid-market private equity as well as growth investments across Europe. He has a MSc in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and a MBA from CEMS.

Dr. Christian Nagel, Co-Founder and Partner of Earlybird, is based at the Berlin office and focuses on FinTech, ideally making use of blockchain, AI technologies and Data Analytics. Christian has more than 24 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience. He was Chairman of the Board of Tipp24 AG (Prime Standard Frankfurt Exchange: TIM) and Interhyp AG (Prime Standard Frankfurt Exchange: IYP), which returned more than 50x the original Earlybird investment. Up till the trade sale to SMSC (NASDAQ: SMSC) he also served on the board of BridgeCo AG (Zurich). He currently serves on the boards of Bitwala (Berlin), CrossEngage (Berlin), CrossLend (Berlin), Fraugster (Berlin), Getsafe (Heidelberg), MostlyAI, N26 (Berlin), ShapeShift (Zug/Denver), smava (Berlin) and Xain (Berlin). Prior to founding Earlybird in 1997, Christian, together with a group of investors, acquired various companies from the Treuhandanstalt (the former East-German state holding) and gained operational experience. He was a shareholder and an Executive Director of HNP Präzisionsteile GmbH & Co. KG, SMB Industrieholding GmbH, DH Industrieholding Hohenthurm GmbH and a number of other subsidiary companies of these holding companies. Previously, Christian worked as an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Co. Inc. focusing on restructuring, strategy and M&A projects within various industries. He holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree (Industrial Engineering, MSc equivalent) from the Technical University of Hamburg, specializing in process engineering and a PhD degree in management from the University of St. Gallen.

As founder and experienced investment professional, Jörg has the in-depth market knowledge and a close-knit network in the venture capital community. Previous stations of his career include Metzler, The Boston Consulting Group, BNP Paribas, Cerberus, Blackstone and Alstin. Jörg holds a PhD in finance and a diploma in electrical engineering and economics. Together with Alex, he set-up and manages KfW Capital as Co-CEO.

Joel Solomon is a Founding Partner of Renewal Funds, Canada's largest mission venture capital firm, at $240 million assets under management. Investing in climate tech and organic foods in Canada and the USA, Renewal Funds is GIIRS-rated, a founding Canadian B Corp (5x “Best for the World”), a “1% for the Planet” member, recognized as ImpactAssets “Top 50 impact fund managers.” Joel is also a frequent public speaker, board member of the University of British Columbia, co-producer of the Integrated Capital Institute with RSF Social Finance, and co-author of The Clean Money Revolution: Re-Inventing Power, Purpose & Capitalism.

Dr. Sofia Harrschar, Executive Director and Member of the Management Board, is responsible for Universal-Investment’s product unit Alternative Investments. The unit includes all investments in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Debt, Loans and Securitisations as well as structuring of complex investment projects and their implementation on Universal-Investment’s German and Luxembourg platforms. Dr. Sofia Harrschar earned a degree in business administration at the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, where she also received her doctorate in finance. Before joining Universal- Investment, she worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Prime Capital. Harrschar has more than 18 years of experience in structuring and investment in alternative investments.

Roumyana Schnettler is a partner at capiton AG, an experienced Private equity investor with focus on mid-cap companies in the DACH region. Roumyana looks back at a 15 years successful career in private equity. She has a strong track record of deal-making, value creation, and experience in mid-market deals, in particular in the German speaking region. Roumyana has a background in Economics and holds an MBA from Purdue University Krannert Business School.
